Tough Love

She stared at him,

He looked strong and admirable

His eyes glowed as he made the presentation

Even more when they met hers

How could they make the same organization?

She asked, more to herself.

She was deeply in love with him, silent love

Or at least she thought she was

She was the boss! How could she make the rules?

He was her best company, her soft spot!

And he seemed to like it

Conflict of interest popped up on her,

So she became tough

Broke his heart, esteem, and persona

He hated her!

She tried amends, but it was late

For them both!

If Only

If only I could let you go

Let you be, let you go

Get you out of my mind…

Then I couldn’t waste even a sec,

Last Friday, I stood in front of my mirror,

Praying God, bring back that old girl

That strong old girl… if only,

I could stand up to you,

Break your heart like you breaking mine.

Yeah if only I could go back in time,

I could tease you, make you fall for me

Disappear into the thin air

Then proclaim a sweet revenge.

If only I wasn’t into you!

A love that’s too deep to hate.

Too vulnerable to avenge.

If only I’d have the courage,

To bring back that old girl

Then I could without hesitating.

These drives are many, you’d agree
And the urge is filled with thirst,
Thirst to outreach the clouds,
Worldly pleasures,
And when you have it all, you realize,
You still haven’t reached the peak,
Haven’t achieved life’s goals,
What is my purpose? You ask,
Little sins, Great achievements,
Your heart is still heavy,
Heavy from yesterday’s deeds,
And yet you keep pursuing,
Not knowing all you need is love,
To lift you high to that place you desire,
And when it’s combined with grace,
You realize what your purpose is,
To serve Christ unconditionally!

My Purpose in Life

An Encounter With Reality

There are so many things we want to happen and yet they don’t. Nevertheless, a time comes when you realize that things don’t always go your way. Sometimes, you got to bend low and accept them as they are. Alternatively, you can choose to hit a rock, get hurt and devote your energy to worry for bygones.

Get me right, a fist fight with a rock is not bad. We deal with issues in different ways. Some of us go crazy, others cry, others padlock themselves in rooms, others get lost in solitude and meditate, and yet others hit the wall and bleed. We do all these to relieve the pain, and that’s perfectly alright.

But here is what happens while you spend ages brooding for past events.

Life Goes On

Yeah, it’s a bitch, and it doesn’t care about what you feel.

Look at this way, there are over 7billion people in the world with bigger problems.Life, is busy fixing more important issues.

So, why would life spend its time on you? Your life is entirely yours and how it works is entirely up to you.

Pick up the pieces and start from where you left. It does not hurt. What will hurt you is if you never get up.

Do away with the excuses. Get up and live.
